REPORT: 95% of people who enter the home business industry will fail, AND only 1 percent or less will ever achieve a six figure income. Experts predict that by the end of 2008, more than 50% of US households will be involved in a home based business, yet they lack the skills necessary to actually achieve success.
So, what separates the successful from the unsuccessful? In this weeks article we are going to discuss the mindset of the successful entrepreneur. At first this may sound like some boring self development stuff, but it's these principles that all successful entrepreneurs came to grips with before they ever experienced any real momentum in their business. I promise, in the upcoming weeks I'll get into the good stuff like marketing, website development/publsihing and list building.
If you want to acheive massive success like the home business leaders before you, then sit up and take notice. You may never see this stuff again. So RIGHT now, have a decided heart and really absorb the information that I 'll be providing over the next 3 months. It could make all the difference in you having a successful home business or becoming another industry statistic.
Here are the Top 5 Common Denominators That Every Successful Home Business Entrepreneur Already Knows And Has Mastered.
1. Success Starts In The Mind- Know who you are, what you are looking to achieve, and how you will get there. Have 100% belief in yourself and the product or service that you are promoting. Be 100% commited to yourself and to your goal/s. Anything short of this is only a wish for better things to come.
2. Self Development- Believe in yourself AND Believe you WILL succeed. Any doubt or limiting beliefs that are in your mind must be eliminated. A negative and a positive thought cannot take up residence in your mind at the same time. You must remove any negative thoughts and fill your mind with thoughts that will move you closer to your goals.
3. Be The Leader People Want To Follow- If you have an unhealthy self-image of yourself, then others will see that as well. If you don't see yourself as a leader, then no one else will either. Take the actions to learn the answers to the well worn stumbling blocks that keep people from reaching their goals. Find someone who has the knowledge and learn from them. Do as they do, and you will know how to lead others. Learn from the leaders who came before you and you too will be a great leader and others will follow. Leave your ego aside and realize where your best thinking has brought you. Don't be afraid to place your trust in those that have come before you. realize that there is always more to learn.
4. Serve Others- People see it everyday, yet they fail to recognize it when it's staring them right in the face. They continue to focus on the company, the compensation plan and their ability to sell the business to others. This mindset will keep you from achieving the success that you desire. People are not looking for a sales man, they are looking for someone who can help them. People want a path that will lead them to the results they desire. When you sell them on a business, you are giving them a problem. If you present them with a business, make sure you offer a solution.
5. Cultivate Leadership- Most home business owners focus on selling people on their product and their company. What they fail to realize is people want leadership, someone they can trust. The people we sponsor become the product. Work with them and develop them into leaders. With a well developed team of leaders, the money will flood in. Potential business partners and customers will be attracted to you like a magnet. They will kick your door down and practically beg you to part of your team. Once this concept is understood, the home business that you promote will never matter. People will become part of your team simply for the leadership that you provide and will have immense gratitude for the person you helped them become.
